ABS-CBN's primetime drama (teleserye), "Pure Love" starring Yen Santos, Matt Evans, Joseph Marco, Arjo Atayde, Yam Concepcion and Alex Gonzaga among others, is now the newest primetime sensation drama on TV. Since it started over a month ago, the story of Diane (played by Alex Gonzaga) and how she copes up with her 40-day travel which led to the discovery of secrets from the people surrounding her, the primetime teleserye got the televiewers' curiosity on how the story will unfold.

ABS-CBN's "Pure Love" Starring Alex Gonzaga an Adaptation from "49 Days" Korean Drama

UPDATE: ABS-CBN is currently playing on Primetime Bida slot an adaptation of this popular Korean drama which stars Alex Gonzaga, Yen Santos, Arjo Atayde, Yam Concepcion, Joseph Marco, and Matt Evans. Alex Gonzaga plays Diane, the rich girl whose soul wanders around after a car accident to search for pure love tears. Matt Evans is playing the role of Scheduler.

The difference between the Korean drama and this adaptation is that Diane should gather pure love tears in 40 days' time not 49 days as what the Korean drama suggested. Filipinos believe that souls of the departed loved ones wander for 40 days before it goes to heaven unlike in Korea, they believe that souls wander for 49 days. As of this writing, Diane is already on her 11th day as a soul wanderer. Below is the official full trailer of ABS-CBN's "Pure Love" starring Alex Gonzaga. I just read the spoiler ending of "49 Days" also known as "Pure Love" now showing on ABS-CBN that I stumbled upon in a blogsite. The blogsite's link was given to me by a friend of mine. I wish he did not give it to me. Hahaha.. oh well... moving on!

The ending of "Pure Love" Korean drama really bothers me as per what I had read about it, the ending is something that people really don't expect and makes you think and realize why did the writer/s of this Korean drama had put so much "trials" to the main character Diane (tagalized version name) played by Nam Gyu-ri. Oh well... even though I already know the ending, and I really can't forget it right now, I will still continue to watch it on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block.

About "49 Days" aka "Pure Love" on ABS-CBN

Here's a short summary/synopsis of "Pure Love" with the real Korean name characters follows:

Shin Ji Hyun was enjoying absolute bliss as she was about to marry her fiancé, Kang Min Ho, but her perfect life is shattered when she gets into a car accident that leaves her in a coma. She is given a second chance at life by a reaper, but it comes with a condition: she has to find three people outside of her family who would cry genuine tears for her. In order to do this, she borrows the body of Yi Kyung, a part-time employee at a convenience store for 49 days. (Source)

Update: "Pure Love" Cast Members Trivia

• The actress who played Ysabelle Song (Song Yi Kyung), Lee Yo Won, played the title role Queen Seon Duk in 2009.

• Diane Shin (Shin Ji Hyun) played by Nam Gyu Ri is a new actress. Pure Love (49 Days) is just her second Korean drama to date. She was a former member of KPOP Girl Group See Ya. She said that she left the group due to contract disputes and because she wanted to become an actress.

• The actor who played Dave Han (Han Kang) is Jo Hyun Jae. Pure Love (49 Days) is his comeback drama after being enlisted in the military for two years. His known Korean drama are Only You, Three Dads and One Mom, Love Letter, and Forbidden Love (aka Nine Tail Fox). Jo Hyun Jae is also known as the Prince Charming of Korea.

• Kang Min Ho played Bae Soo Bin appeared in the Korean drama Shining Inheritance as one of the four main characters. He also worked with Lee Yo Won in the 2005 drama, Fashion 70's.

• And finally, The Scheduler played by Jung Il Woo is the actor who appeared also in various dramas such as Unstoppable High Kick and his first ever starring role, The Return of Iljimae with 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, making a cameo role as the Japanese girl Rie.

UPDATE: ABS-CBN's "Ikaw Lamang" Book 1 Ending: How It Ended?

ABS-CBN's epic period drama teleserye, "Ikaw Lamang" Book 1 has come to an end (winning their five-month run), but wait there's more, as their "Ikaw Lamang" Book 2 teaser trailer says, "the end is only the beginning" will finally unfold next week! New set of characters, new plots, and new twists of events are expected to happen as "Ikaw Lamang" Book 2 awaits the televiewers.

About "Ikaw Lamang" Book 1

"Ikaw Lamang" Book 1 spans three arcs of stories which were unfolded during its run: from 1) Elena-Eduardo-Miranda love triangle, to the 2) childhood days of Samuel, Isabelle, Mona, and Franco, up to the 3) adulthood days of the four main characters that were set in the 1950's up to the early 1980's. The events that had happened in the past will be very significant in the present as "Ikaw Lamang" opens it's Book 2 in the coming days. In the Book 2 era, the third generation of Severinos and Hidalgos will continue its epic war of greed, power, deceitfulness, tragedy, and love.

In this fourth arc of "Ikaw Lamang" (Book 2), the son of Samuel, Gabriel, will grow into an adult who will fall in love with Andrea, daughter of Isabelle. Natalia, the first daughter of Isabelle, will make the lives of the two miserable. Samuel, Isabelle, and Franco will grow into adults who are in their late 50's or probably in their 60's. As a new arc of storyline reveals, new set of characters will also be added in "Ikaw Lamang" Book 2.

But what happened in "Ikaw Lamang" Book 1? Let's do a recap:

During the Book 1 of "Ikaw Lamang," a lot of things had happened. Here are some of the events of the past that might help in the events of the present time generation. (Note: item 1 is a back story only.)

1) Elena and Eduardo had an affair. When Maximo found out that Elena was pregnant, he manipulated a robbery that led to Elena's unfortunate imprisonment and then later on, an exile away from the town of Salvacion. Eduardo married Miranda, Maximo's daughter, without Eduardo knowing that Elena was pregnant to his son who will later known as Samuel.

2) Years later, Elena came back to Salvacion, along with her family and her only son, Samuel, due to some economic reasons. The Severinos came back as obreros in sacadas (seasonal sugar plantation workers). They were hired by Don Gonzalo.

3) The young Samuel met the young Isabelle during a fire in the sugar plantation. Days before this event had happened, Samuel and Franco were already friends. Samuel rescued Isabelle in the fire but it was Franco who claimed to rescue Isabelle. The truth was revealed by the help of Governor Eduardo and found out that it was Samuel who really rescued Isabelle. The feud between Samuel and Franco began during these times.

4) A few days later, Isabelle was brought to London to begin her study abroad. Franco planned a trip to London and find a school there. He knew that Isabelle was going to study there. Several years later, Isabelle and Franco came back, Franco proposed to Isabelle but was rejected. Isabelle fell in love with Samuel, but Franco hindered their love in a lot of ways. Eventually, Franco got Isabelle due to their family's debt and to save their family's land ownership.

5) Before Isabelle and Franco's wedding, Samuel planned an escaped. Samuel and Isabelle eloped and went to another town far away from Salvacion. But unfortunate things happened, Maximo's followers found their location and kidnapped Samuel. In order to save Samuel's life, Isabelle was forced to marry Franco. Franco later on found out his true identity --  he was the real and only son of Governor Eduardo Hidalgo to Elena Severino. Things later changed for Samuel's life.

6) When Samuel found out the marriage of Franco and Isabelle, he was depressed. Mona, Samuel's lifetime friend comforted him and something happened to them. Mona got pregnant, Samuel married her later on. Isabelle found out and got depressed. Mona and Isabelle gave birth at the same time. Mona's son, Gabriel was kidnapped by Don Gonzalo, Isabelle's father, for ransom, but was rescued by her. Gabriel was returned to Mona and Samuel. Mona got jealous of Isabelle's love for Samuel. Then Mona and Samuel went to Manila to study and have a quiet life.

7) Several years later, Mona and Samuel went back to Salvacion due to his father's (still Governor Eduardo) invitation to his wedding with Samuel's mother, Elena. Years before that, Eduardo's wife, Miranda was shot by his own father, Maximo as he was chasing Don Gonzalo in the woods. This event led to the departure of Samuel and Mona to Manila. Meanwhile, Franco was now the Mayor of Salvacion. When Samuel visited his friends at the sugar plantation, he found out the scam that Mayor Franco was doing. The funds that was supposed to be for the obreros were used by Franco in other ways.

8) When Samuel found out the poor situation of the obreros, this event led to Samuel's candidacy for governor to help the poor people of Salvacion. But Maximo was determined to perish Samuel and his family. During the election process, Samuel's wife Mona was shot in an ambush and died. They knew Maximo was behind all the mishaps that happened with the Severinos, so Eduardo was determined to track down Maximo's location and had him arrested. When they found Maximo's location, Eduardo and some of the policemen were killed by Maximo in a raid. Samuel was spared but Eduardo's life wasn't.

9) Maximo was shot and had a hospital arrest. When Maximo was detained, he knew he will never likely to get out, so he faked his death by committing suicide. Maximo was placed inside a coffin along with his wealth. But Don Gonzalo found out this plan through Isabelle, and immediately went to hunt for his whereabouts. When Gonzalo and Paquito (Gonzalo's trusted follower) had known Maximo's whereabouts, they had Maximo tasted his own medicine by burying him alive with live venomous snakes inside his coffin.

10) Meanwhile, a plan to escape Isabelle from Franco's hands was executed. Franco was now in manhunt for Samuel and his family's whereabouts. He has given a reward money to anyone who will pinpoint their location. Will Samuel's and Isabelle's family escape this Salvacion-wide manhunt?

UPDATE:
11) Rebecca and Gonzalo were caught by Franco and his team. Franco held the two to tell the truth about Isabelle's whereabouts. Rebecca spilled it out by telling Franco that he won't be able to reach Isabelle because the ship going to Manila has already left. But since Franco was the governor of Salvacion, he made the ship delayed for awhile. He asked one of this followers to put some bombs inside the ship and blast it off to its wreckage. Meanwhile, Isabelle was worried about her parents while she handled Natalia's tantrums.

12) Natalia finally got out of the ship while having a tantrum. As she went down the ship, Franco was climbing up and found Isabelle and Natalia. Franco grabbed Natalia while Isabelle begged for her. Franco asked Isabelle to give Natalia to her. Franco was hesitant but instead let Isabelle choose between her going back to the ship or her parents lives. Isabelle chose the latter, but thought of Andrea who was left inside the ship with the Severinos. Isabelle went back inside with her parents in a struggle to win Natalia with Franco. Franco won and let Isabelle get inside the ship.

13) Isabelle was worried about Natalia's future to Franco. She has a hint why did Franco let them go easily along with Samuel and the Severinos. Finally, a blast in the ship occurred. There was shipwrecked. The people inside the ship hurried out to the open sea to save their own lives. Many got hurt including Isabelle's parents and the Severinos. Meanwhile, Andrea was accidentally given by Elena to a couple of strangers that were inside a boat for the rescue. The last scene was Gabriel seeing left alone in the open sea with a life vest crying hopelessly.

Whew! Now that's a recap for the whole "Ikaw Lamang" Book 1! However, we are not yet finished to this twists and turns of events to the love story of Samuel and Isabelle. On Monday, August 11, a new beginning will be unfolded. If we are going to base on the "Ikaw Lamang" Book 2 Cast teaser trailer, we already know that Samuel and Isabelle are alive, but what we didn't know if their love story has continued or not, or if Franco won this time. And what will happen to Natalia, Andrea, and Gabriel?

Continue to watch "Ikaw Lamang" on ABS-CBN as its story comes to their Book 2 which will start with the above-mentioned unfortunate events of stories.

"Dugong Buhay" on ABS-CBN: Full Trailer and Information

Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 2 Big Winner, Ejay Falcon finally leads his very own teleserye on ABS-CBN via the upcoming action-romance-drama, "Dugong Buhay". "Dugong Buhay" is based on the 1983 film by Carlo J. Caparas which starred Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. during his early days in showbiz. According to Carlo J. Caparas in an interview, he thought Ejay Falcon is the right person to play the role of Gabriel de Lara because of his physique, charisma, and natural perm which the character asks. The Gabriel de Lara character will seek for revenge for his mother and brother, and I think the "perm" will make the character even more mysterious and will have that always-ready-for-action feel look. Something different for an action-drama hero!

"Dugong Buhay" is NOT a Pinoy adaptation or a peg of the hit Korean drama, "City Hunter" starring Lee Min-Ho, although some plots may have been similar to the hit drama, I think the ABS-CBN management see to it that the story will not be similar or even close to the story of said Korean drama. It is based on the komiks made into film and directed by Carlo J. Caparas thirty years ago.

So far, this is Ejay Falcon's biggest break ever. Newbie actor, Arjo Atayde may also consider this as his biggest break after winning the Most Promising Actor award last year on his MMK performance. "Dugong Buhay" is said to replace the afternoon drama, "Paraiso" on Kapamilya Gold block. But I do hope this will be shown on the Primetime Bida block. It's not everyday that you watch an action-drama-teleserye on television, you know? "Dugong Buhay" is set to be shown on April 8, 2013, but plans to put it on the primetime block must push through. ABS-CBN's "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" Full Trailer, Cast, and Information

ABS-CBN has recently released the full trailer of its newest kilig-serye, "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" starring Sam Milby, Paulo Avelino, and Angeline Quinto in her first-ever teleserye (drama series). "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" is slated to be shown on ABS-CBN afternoon block, Kapamilya Gold.

About "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" Kilig-serye

"Kahit Konting Pagtingin" is ABS-CBN's opening salvo kilig-serye on Kapamilya Gold this 2013. It stars Angeline Quinto in her first-ever teleserye in her home network, ABS-CBN. This is Angeline Quinto's second major project since her winning on Star Power with the movie "Born to Love You" opposite Coco Martin being her first major project.

This is ABS-CBN's second "kilig-serye" project offering with the phenomenal "Be Careful With My Heart" starring Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria being their first. "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" also marks the come back of Star Magic artist and talent, John "Sweet" Lapus after being a GMA-7 employee for six years. Although John Lapus has been visible on different GMA-7 shows, he is also visible in some Star Cinema movies during the past years such as "Here Comes the Bride" and the Valentine's in December movie "24/7 In Love", Star Magic's 20th Anniversary Movie Offering. Coco Martin plays a superhero in "Juan Dela Cruz" | ABS-CBN launched their 2013 upcoming shows!

The much-awaited comeback of ABS-CBN artist and the Prince of Philippine Drama, Coco Martin has already been set as he made it to the front row ticket of ABS-CBN's list of programming for the upcoming year, 2013. Coco Martin is slated to play the role of a superhero via the upcoming fantaserye (fantasy series), Juan Dela Cruz.

"The Big Bang Theory" Brings Stephen Hawking as Guest Star... Finally!

The geeky comedy sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory" will have its biggest guest star to date as the world renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking will have an appearance on the said show in the upcoming episode on April 5th, 2012, CBS network has announced, Monday.

According to report released by CBS, Stephen Hawking will guest star as himself and visits the uber-geeky Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) at work "to share his beautiful mind with his most ardent admirer." Executive producer Bill Prady had long dreamed of Stephen Hawking to guest on the show, and now that this is 'finally' coming into reality, I'm sure it will be a one-of-a-kind, fun-filled, geeky episode for "The Big Bang Theory".

Stephen Hawking has appeared to numerous television shows and comedy sitcoms in the past because of his book "A Brief History of Time" which includes some documentaries, a guest spot on "Futurama", and appeared also as himself in several episodes of "The Simpsons".

Fans of The Big Bang Theory series around the world have much anticipated this guest appearance by the theoretical physicist, including myself. Just imagine Stephen Hawking and Sheldon Cooper exchanging geeky conversations which only them can understand, is I guest the biggest riot in comedy sitcom television history! Looking forward to this episode! Hahaha! I hope Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will be there in that situation as the two scientists exchange ideas! Nice... hahaha!

"City Hunter" on ABS-CBN

I have been watching Lee Min Ho's 2011 hit Korean drama, "City Hunter" these past few days, and I must say that I really enjoyed watching it. I am very close to the ending of "City Hunter" but I won't be giving any spoilers for you to watch it on ABS-CBN.

"City Hunter" stars South Korea's Min-Min couple namely Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho in the title role. Brought to you by Asia's first and true home of Asianovela, ABS-CBN brings you one of the most expensive Korean drama ever made in the history of Asian drama. It is a story of man who seeks revenge for the death of his father. Below is a short synopsis/plot of "City Hunter":

Lee Yoon Sung is a talented MIT-graduate who works on the international communications team of the Blue House. He was summoned by his stepfather to take revenge on five politicians who caused the death of his biological father and 19 other South Korean military members. These armymen were accused of betraying their country in an incident which took place 28 years ago.

To do his plan, Yoon Sung must remember three rules for his mission: 1) Do not trust anybody; 2) Do not reveal his identity; and 3) Do not fall in love. With these in mind, Yoon Sung flew back to Korea to execute his mission. While in Korea, he met the beautiful young bodyguard lady of Blue House named Kim Na Na. When their lives intertwine, they will discover some secrets that will affect both their lives and mission.

I really must say that "City Hunter" is a must watch online or on TV! The production value is really something to look forward to. The story alone is superb; add some explosive scenes, you'll never get wrong with watching "City Hunter". It is now my first on the list when it comes to action Korean Drama series. Perhaps next to "IRIS" which will be showing on GMA-7, and "Fugitive Plan B" which has yet to be shown on Philippine television.

After being delayed for six months now, we will finally start the search for Melissa Ricks in "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida starting September 12, 2011. The search for Elisa will be a long-winding journey. Most of version in other countries have six months of daily episodes. But you need not wait that long to know how the story will progress. In this article, we will reveal spoilers about the plots, and cast and characters of the much-awaited teleserye adaptation of ABS-CBN, the Nasaan Ka Elisa? We will also reveal the intricate love stories of the characters. Finally, we will reveal who will kidnap Elisa and who is the main villain.

Nasaan Ka Elisa? Spoilers and Trivia

Feast yourselves with these spoilers and trivia about Nasaan Ka Elisa?:

• Nasaan Ka Elisa? is the Philippine adaptation of the Chilean crime drama "¿Donde Esta Elisa?" We are the 14th country to remake this telenovela.

• This Philippine adaptation of Nasaan Ka Elisa? uses the names in the US version rather than in the original Chilean version.

• Elisa (Melissa Ricks) is the oldest daughter of Mariano Altamira (Albert Martinez) and Dana Altamira (Agot Isidro). Her disappearance will cast doubts on everybody and secrets of every character will be revealed.

• Inspiration of the story comes from the real life drama involving vanished British native Madeleine McCann in Portugal and from the disappearance of Jorge Matute Johns in a local disco who was never seen again.

• Vina Morales character Cecile Altamira-Caceres is the main villain in the telenovela. It is her first ever kontrabida role.

• This is also Vina Morales' most daring and sexy role so far. She will have kissing scenes and loves scenes with Eric Fructuoso and Allen Dizon. She also has a shower scene with Allen Dizon.

• Nasaan Ka Elisa? was first set to air on March 21, 2011 in the Kapamilya Gold (afternoon) block line up. However, the contract of Albert Martinez, Agot Isidro, and Vina Morales with ABS-CBN specifically states the their TV series must be on a primetime slot.

• In the Chilean and US version, Bruno (Eric Fructuoso) is the kidnapper. Bruno and Elisa are secret lovers.

• Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemate Tibo Jumalon will play the role of Albert dela Cruz who is the false kidnapper of Elisa.

• The father and mother, and the two detectives played by Albert Martinez, Agot Isidro, Joem Bascon, and Desiree del Valle, respectively, are the main protagonist of the story. However, it is expected to give Melissa Ricks more role in the Philippine version to give her more credit.

• Christopher Roxas' role as Joey Rincon, the husband of Viviana Altamira (Mickey Ferriols) is a homosexual and is in love with Richard dela Fuente (Archie Alemania) who is also a homosexual.

• Joem Bascon's and Agot Isidro's characters are secret lovers.

• Vina Morales character Cecile Altamira-Caceres will be killing three persons in this teleserye, including Elisa and Bruno.

• Bruno Caceres kidnaps Elisa. They used to go out and Elisa planned her disappearance. Then she started to live in a cabin. However, Bruno wouldn't let her out because he was already too involved. Bruno then transferred Elisa to another place so that she wouldn't escape and he will not let her out.

"My Binondo Girl" on ABS-CBN starring Kim Chiu!

In the tradition of bringing you world-class Filipino drama entertainment, ABS-CBN, the premiere maker of quality drama on television, brings you yet another entertaining teleserye in the upcoming dramedy (comedy-drama) series entitled, "My Binondo Girl". My Binondo Girl stars one of the most successful primetime drama princesses of ABS-CBN, Kim Chiu, in her most challenging role to date. Kim Chiu will not play a dual role, but she will portray a male role in order to grant the wish of his Chinese father.

"My Binondo Girl" summary/synopsis

When Zheny (Ai Ai delas Alas) went to Guangzhou, China to become a teacher, she met a guy named Chen Xi (Richard Yap) and together, they fell in love. When Chen Xi found out that Zheny was pregnant and the child that Zheny was carrying is a boy, they knew their life would be happy because of their first-born child. When Chen Xi's family found out that the first-born child is a girl (Chinese traditions believed that a first-born who is a boy will bring good luck to family), Chen Xi's family threw Zheny away along with her child, Jade.

Years later, Jade (young, Mutya Orquia) and Zheny are living in the streets of Binondo, Manila where most Filipino-Chinese citizens live. In here, they live a peaceful life. Jade (Kim Chiu) grew up acting like a boy for her to live the life of a son that she never be to her father that she wants to see. Jade grew up with her bestfriend Onyx (Jolo Revilla), and together, they roam the streets of Binondo for a living.

One day, Chen Xi came back to the Philippines to find his son, Yuan Xi. But to his frustrations, he only saw his daughter that he never claimed his own. Because of this, Jade disguised herself as a man in order to grant her father to see his son to Zheny. Jade is longing for the love of his father, and because of this, she will do everything to see, touch, and hug him, no matter what, even it means to become the son, Yuan Xi to her father.

"My Binondo Girl" information and cast

"My Binondo Girl" is definitely not the Filipino-Chinese version of the 2008 Korean drama hit remake of ABS-CBN, "My Girl" which also stars Kim Chiu. Kim Chiu is said to gain some few pounds to fit the role. She even had a costume study for the role that she will portray.

There are three leading men in "My Binondo Girl"—Xian Lim as Andrew, the Filipino-Chinese businessman who will fall in love with Jade; Matteo Guidicelli as Trevor, the half-Filipino who will set his eyes to Jade; and Jolo Revilla as Onyx, the pure Filipino bestfriend of Jade. Child star Izzy Canillo of "Goin' Bulilit" also stars as the young Onyx. Mutya Orquia of "Mutya" is casted as the young Jade.

Glydel Mercado, Ricardo Cepeda, Ms. Ai Ai delas Alas, Ms. Cherry Pie Picache, and Ms. Gina Pareño completes the stellar and magnificent cast of "My Binondo Girl". First time actors Laureen Uy as Amethyst Sy and Richard Yap as Chen Xi also stars in this much-awaited dramedy teleserye of ABS-CBN.

Whatever Happened to "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" of ABS-CBN?

"Nasaan na nga ba si Elisa?" yan din ang tanong ng karamihan sa atin kung ano na nga ba ang nangyari sa pinakaaabangang teleserye ng ABS-CBN na pinagbibidahan ni Melissa Ricks, ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" mula sa Chilean telenovelang "¿Donde Esta Elisa? (Where is Elisa?)".

"Nasaan Ka Elisa?" was originally intended to be shown on March 7 as part of ABS-CBN afternoon block (Haponstatic) which was later changed into Kapamilya Gold. The teleserye remake of the Chilean telenovela is really promising, from the story, to the scenes, up to the artists and production. Kaya lang, mukhang tatlong buwan na ang nakalilipas simula noong ipromote ito, hanggang ngayon eh wala pa din tayong napapanood na "Nasaan Ka Elisa?". Eh, nasaan na nga ba itong teleserye na ito?

Ayon sa aking source, ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" na pinagbibidahan ni Melissa Ricks, gayundin ang "Maria La Del Barrio" nina Erich Gonzales at Enchong Dee, at iyong "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Hiyas" naman ni Zanjoe Marudo eh hindi nakapasa sa standards ng mga taga Movie and Television Reviews and Classification Board or MTRCB. Ang naturang tema di umano ng mga nabanggit na upcoming teleserye ng ABS-CBN ay hindi maaring ipalabas sa hapon. Ang pagpapakita ng mga "mature" roles ay nararapat daw sa pang-gabing timeslot (10PM onwards). At dahil na rin sa rason ito, ang tatlong nasabing teleserye ay hinahanapan pa daw ng timeslot.

Sabik na sabik na ako sa totoo lang sa paghihintay kung kailan ipapalabas ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" dahil na din sa kakaibang tema nito at produksyon. Ayon sa aking source, ang teleserye raw na ito ay maaaring ipalit sa timeslot ng "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" kapag ito ay nagwakas na.

ABS-CBN launches "Kapamilya Gold" Campaign

ABS-CBN Broadcasting, the country's leading television network and home to quality news and entertainment programs, brings you yet another milestone in Philippine TV history. The network is set to bring back the good old days of watching Pinoy(-themed) Soap Operas in the afternoon block with the launching of ABS-CBN's campaign, "Kapamilya Gold".

What is "Kapamilya Gold"?

Kapamilya Gold is ABS-CBN's media campaign for bringing back the golden age of watching Pinoy Soap Operas. It aims to bring back the soap opera viewing habits of Filipinos in the afternoon timeslot block. It has been remembered that during the Wowowee days, ABS-CBN has stopped producing quality soap operas in the afternoon block. "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" Full Trailer, Cast, and Information

ABS-CBN, the leading quality drama-maker network, is once against setting another breakthrough in giving world-class teleserye with their upcoming television drama soap, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (I Will Only Love You Once, literal translation). Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin Synopsis/Summary/Plot

Coco Martin plays as Alexander Del Tiero, a lad in his twenty-something age who tries to woo his higher ranking military official grandfather, General Sebastiano played by Ronaldo Valdez by joining the Armed Forces of the Philippines even if it is against his will. Alexander doesn't want to become an army soldier, and he thinks just by doing so, he is only making his grandfather happy.

One military mission against the rebels, Alexander was tasked to join the New People's Army to get information from them. But instead of fighting for the military, Alexander's beliefs were reciprocated when his principles were changed into what the rebels are fighting for. Alexander now fights against the will of the military, and against the will of his beloved grandfather. Which side will Alexander choose to fight in the end — for the military or for the rebel?

Cast and Information on Minsan Lang Kita Iibigan

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin is an upcoming teleserye of ABS-CBN which is set to be shown on February, replacing Noah but with a different timeslot. It is a star-studded soap drama which features three of the most sought-after young generation stars namely Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, and Coco Martin. This is the first team-up of Andi Eigenmann and Coco Martin in a project and the second time of Coco Martin and Maja Salvador in a soap drama.

Meanwhile, Amy Austria-Ventura comes back as a Kapamilya talent as a rebel while long-time friend Lorna Tolentino is making a comeback in primetime as the mother of Alexander, Coco Martin's character. Amy Austria's last soap in ABS-CBN was Walang Kapalit back in 2007, starring Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto, but her most memorable character was done as an actress when she played as Lourdes in ABS-CBN's 2000 soap Pangako Sa'Yo and also the character name Lourdes in GMA-7's 2004 telefantasya, Mulawin. Lorna Tolentino was last seen in the hit drama soaps, May Bukas Pa and Dahil May Isang Ikaw.

Martin del Rosario, is given a break in this soap. He is formally introduced as an important young actor of ABS-CBN by joining this big soap production. He was more visible in episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya where he played several gay teenager roles, but the most notable of them all was when he was casted as the brother of Roxanne Guinoo in her former soap drama, Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?

Completing the big-budgeted cast of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin are Ronaldo Valdez, Dante Rivero, Boots Anson-Rivera, John Estrada, Amy Austria-Ventura, Tonton Gutierrez, and Lorna Tolentino. Young generation of stars casted are Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, Martin del Rosario, and Coco Martin. Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin is directed by Ruel S. Bayani and Darnel Villaflor.

I have been watching this romantic korean drama "You're Beautiful" or "He's Beautiful" this past few days and I all I can say is that I am enjoying every moment on each episode that I am watching. You're Beautiful is a one-of-a-kind romantic-comedy korean series that tackles the behind-the-camera lives of a popular (fictional) pop idol group in South Korea named A.N. Jell led by vocalist Hwang Tae Kyung, a neat-freak, obsessive-compulsive guy who somehow has an attitude that cannot go along with others. The story revolves around A.N. Jell's journey with newfound member, Go Mi Nam and their quest for fame and personal reasons.

"You're Beautiful" or "He's Beautiful" is an upcoming Korean romantic-comedy-drama on ABS-CBN that will soon to make your primetime habits a bit more exciting because of the genre this korean drama has to offer. "You're Beautiful" is a one-of-a-kind drama that follows the behind-the-scenes life of a fictional idol group, A.N.JELL in South Korea. Go Mi Nyu is a sister-in-training. ABS-CBN's "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" Trailer, Cast and Information!

After the phenomenal success of ABS-CBN hit teleserye "Tayong Dalawa", the premiere quality drama maker network is set to have another hit teleserye in the making with its new lined up show, "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" (If We Part Ways) in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Philippine Soap Opera. "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is all geared up with superbankable stars of ABS-CBN. It is also a comebacking teleserye and a reunion television series of some familiar artists casted in Tayong Dalawa.

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is lead by Ms. Kris Aquino whom last TV series was the horror-suspense drama "Patayin Sa Sindak si Barbara". The series also stars the country's most favorite loveteam, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Gabby Concepcion of "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" [There Is Only (One) You] and Albert Martinez of "May Bukas Pa" [There's Still (Hope for) Tomorrow] are also casted in this series, so we might expect that "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is set to be shown early next year after the ending of the two said television drama series sometime in late-January to mid-February of 2010.

The most-loved character of Ms. Gina Pareño as Lola Getz is not really backed on primetime, but the Ms. Gina Pareño is back to another character that we will surely love or hate, whichever comes first. Ms. Pareño will play the role of Albert Martinez' mother. If the KIMERALDS and Lola Getz' reunion is not enough, Ramon aka Coco Martin is also casted in this upcoming drama who will be the son of Albert Martinez' character. Meanwhile, Jacklyn Jose is also reunited with "Nagsimula Sa Puso" (It Started from the Heart) co-star Coco Martin.

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is supposed to be the comeback television series of Robin Padilla as a Kapamilya. But things did not push through. Maricar Reyes, on the other hand, becomes one of the favorites of ABS-CBN as she is also casted in this upcoming drama. A newcomer girl who plays the character "Alicia" is also casted here, whom as of this press time, I still have no idea who she is who is none other than the sister of Ryan and Geoff Eigenmann, Maxine Eigenmann. Hahaha...

"Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" Story Information

Kris Aquino will play the second wife of Albert Martinez who has a first ambitious wife to be played by Ms. Jacklyn Jose who has a son in who does not want to share anything. Coco Martin plays Jacklyn Jose's son, who once again is a bad character role for Coco Martin. Gabby Concepcion on the other hand, plays the role of a man who Kris Aquino's character truly loved but they have to be separated somehow during the show for a reason I still don't know.

Meanwhile, Ms. Gina Pareño plays the role of Albert Martinez' character who really loves her son so much, she will do anything to keep that love alive. I am guessing Albert Martinez is a mama's boy here, he is a weakling inside.

Maricar Reyes plays the role of Gabby Concepcion's character. A querida in the making, perhaps a homewrecker. She loves Gabby Concepcion so much, but Gabby Concepcion's character loves Kris Aquino's.

Gerald Anderson plays the role of Gabby Concepcion's son. She will meet Kim Chiu's character as the story progresses. But Gerald Anderson's character is somehow committed to a girl named Alicia (whom I still don't know the name of the artist is) Maxine Eigenmann. Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's character will fall in love to each other no matter what the girl named Alicia Maxine Eigenmann will do.

Ang teleseryeng lalabag sa batas ng pagmamahal (The drama series that will break the law/rule of love). I am guessing that Gabby Concepcion's role here is something that deals with the armed forces and Albert Martinez' role has something to do with politics. Gerald Anderson said in the trailer (video below) that his dad is his idol. So, I am also guessing that Gerald Anderson's character will also something to do with the military. Perhaps a junior police or something.
