Assault offenders, robbers, hold-uppers... beware... Don't tell me you haven't been warned! Hahaha... Apparently, there is a very cool jacket that was invented by a couple in a university that creates 80,000 volts of electricity with a single cell battery. The inventor told a report that the jacket was custom-made to prevent robbers and hold-uppers or other types of assault offenders. Watch the following video for more details.
Time for serious matter guys! Sometimes, people are not contented with what they have — luxury, jobs, love life, money, etc. — and the only way for them to be contented is to have more. I personally believe in the saying, "You just can't have too much of a good thing!" and I still live with that idea. Well... I guess, the moral of the story is, just be thankful with what you have and learn to keep it.
Things, like people, they come and they go. One moment, you have it, the other moment, they are gone. With the economic crisis that the world is experiencing right now, and all that global financial crisis thing that makes the world gone crazy, topsy-turvy and vice versa are now a possibilities.
Now why am I saying all of these? Simply because nothing is permanent nowadays. First thing morning you have a job, by the end of the day... you're fired. I found this blog entry on centiments and so she quoted:

It's really hard to work, it's really hard to earn some money. All I can give you to prevent the above-mentioned happenings are the following:
• Love your job, embrace it well. Since nothing is permanent nowadays, if you are a regular employee already, just love your job and be happy and contented with what you have. I guess your only consolation on this crisis is that you have a job, even if the salary is not that high, while other are still seeking or job hunting.
• Be happy with what you have. In this times of crisis, never expect too much, because reality really makes people sad. If you can't afford to have a new cellphone, but you still have your cellphone and it's not broken, why bother to buy a new one? Just keep your money for future use, right?
• Learn new things, improve your craft. Learning should not stop when you are already working. Learning new things and skills are just one way to uplift your personal abilities. You may learn how to operate a photocopy machine, so the next time you apply for a new job that requires that skill, you already know what to do. Another example is to learn to improve your craft. If you know how to cook but don't know how to bake, learn how to bake. It's one way of improving yourself. Food business is always a good alternative choice for extra income. You can always start with your officemates.
• Never quit your work unless you are really sure with another work. Now here comes the dilemma. A job is being offered to you, but the thing is, you are not sure of the stability of the company. You may be offered with a much higher compensation than your present salary... but this job is only for a few months of work... which will you choose... your present job which you are already permanent or this very tempting offer? Think a million times before you decide!

ABS-CBN has once again offered us its much-awaited and much anticipated Kapamilya Summer Station ID for 2009! This year's theme is entitled, "Galaw-galaw sa Tag-araw!" as performed by the ASAP's Kanto Boys starring Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz.
The ABS-CBN Kapamilya Summer Station ID is a yearly tradition of ABS-CBN Network that features stars from their Entertainment and News and Current Affairs Departments. Every year, the summer station ID has a theme and a sub-theme which features different Kapamilya stars doing different things related to summer. This year, the makers of the Kapamilya Summer Station ID decided to have a theme that will focus on the environment. The ABS-CBN Kapamilya Summer Station ID 2009: Galaw-galaw sa Tag-araw!
"Galaw-galaw sa Tag-araw" is a music video-type Summer Station ID which features the singing prowess of four of the most sought after Kapamilya star entertainer who calls themselves as the Kanto Boys whose members would include Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz. The Kanto Boys are regularly seen on ASAP every Sunday at 11:45am performing some funny and cute antics.
The Station ID itself is composed of Kapamilya stars and News anchors doing some things to help clean the environment and doing some humanitarian works. I won't spoil the fun of watching John Lloyd Cruz doing a sing and dance number with this Station ID. Hahaha... Now you decide if it's worth of watching because I really enjoyed watching it! Feels like summer already! Summer will not be complete without the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Summer Station ID! So what are you waiting for... "Galaw-galaw sa Tag-araw!" Kudos to ABS-CBN for another great Summer Station ID this 2009!

But before with the details with Call Center Guy, here's a back story about my frustrations on being a comic book superhero illustrator. The Back Story
Yes... I am a frustrated comic book illustrator... I wanted to draw as much as I wanted to write... My whole life, I made several sketches and drawings and other stuffs. My artist friend told me that I should draw some sketches again to bring back my sketching skills in high school. Drawing things has been so dormant to me, it never came back.
But of course, everything else changed now! I saw this tweet status of a contact friend and followed the link. When I clicked it, I finally saw what am I looking for! The Marvel's Create Your Own Superhero website really rocks!!! And then... Call Center Guy is born!!!
The Call Center Guy Superhero!
The Call Center Guy Superhero is just like your ordinary superhero... a hero with a secret identity. He goes by the name "Martin" in a certain, undisclosed call center company working as a Customer Sales Representative doing in-bound calls and helping people with their problems on a particular product.
"Martin" is a day-shift superhero. Superhero by day, call center agent by night. Yes... he does not take a sleep. His genes does not permit him to. He's like superman... with an alien blood... the only difference is, Clark Kent does not work for a certain call center company, "Martin" does... and he's the top agent!
Yeah! His powers are superb! Really superb you cannot imagine that he can do it all. Point any superhero with any abilities... he can do that all... he can even surpass them all! When "Martin" turns into Call Center Guy, he permits himself to grow some beard! Yeah.. call that for a cool disguise huh?! *nod*
Call Center Guy is equipped with superb technology-based weaponry that he can use in every known situations. His bluetooth technology call center headset helps him track all criminal offenses in the city. It is equipped with high-frequency audio receiver that receives signals everywhere, whenever. He is armed with Doc-Oc-like tentacles for multitasking crime-busting purposes! He also has this unique atomic hands that blasting off atomic particles to disintegrate his enemies into molecules and finally diminished into thin air. Enemies with annihilation plans are no good for this superhero!!!
A high-powered rocket engine is installed under his foot gear to imitate that Ironman-like flying ability. An X-belt makes him fab! Lols! The emo hair makes him one superhero guy that rise above the rest (there is no superhero to date with an emo hair... as far as I know.. heehhe)... and of course.... the last but definitely not the least... Call Center Guy is equipped with a very fashionable scarf... that turns into a whip whenever it wants to (yeah, the scarf itself has a life... which makes it Call Center Guy's parasitic sidekick!).

We all know that walking is good for our body. It keeps our heart healthy and can maintain your body weight better. But if we are trying to lose weight just by walking for hours, why not a try a different alternative but the joy of walking is still there!
It's called brisk walking! I've been practicing brisk walking for a several months now and I can say that it really helps me sweat out more than traditional walking. Medical professionals and experts say, brisk walking helps fight against stress, improve heart rate and blood circulation and can burn more calories than that of traditional walking. Below is a news report on how we can practice brisk walking and its benefits.
So all you have to do to maintain a certain body weight OR to lose weight is to take 100 brisk walk per minute for only 30 minutes. It will not only cut off the time of traditional treadmill walking, but it will give us the same results or even surpassed what it can give you.
Now, here some simple tips when I'm doing the brisk walk:
• I do brisk walk in a very large area, say a brisk walk inside a mall, or in a community walk way. The larger area, the better.
• I sing some songs when I do brisk walk. This is to circulate the air that I am using while brisk walking. The faster the beat of the song, the better.
• I brisk walk with large steps. I love doing that. Hehehe.
• And finally, I drink a lot of water after a very short but hard brisk walk. This is to replace all the fluids that I loss through sweat.

ABS-CBN, through their Kapamilya Novelas Multiply Site, has just released their newest trailer to the upcoming Taiwanese Drama "Hot Shot" starring the Asian Superstars Jerry Yan, Wu Chun and Show Lo. This upcoming Asian Novela is expected to be shown on the afternoon block, but of course fans of the show wanted this series to be shown on primetime. All I can say is... As you can see... Jerry Yan (Meteor Garden) topbills this Taiwan drama series because he is the biggest star among the rest of the casts. Wu Chun (Hana Kimi) on the other hand only supports the two main characters which was played by Show Lo (Love at the Corner) and Zhou Cai Shi. Yeah! The two latter artists' names are the main protagonists in this drama. Sorry to disappoint Jerry Yan and Wu Chun's fans out there. Oooppss... spoiler alert is ahead!
Hot Shot Synopsis
In a school where academic reigns supreme and sports are relegated to a dusty corner of the campus, Li Ying vows to revive the basketball team by volunteering to be the head coach. Her first member is Yuan Da Ying, a country boy who is passionate for basketball but has no skill. Their recruitment goes into high gear when Dong Fang Xiang, a legendary basketball player, transfers to their school.
Around the same time, Yuan Da Ying falls for Zhan Jie Er, a scholarship student who reminds him of his childhood friend. Things are complicated by the fact her family works for Dong Fang Xiang, who she also grew up with. Their encounter may just rewrite the school's basketball history.

Now here comes another side of me where I write poetries. Yes! Apparently, I do write poetries. But only in a section of our science magazine that I am affiliated with. Hehehe... you know, that some kind of poetry integrated with values and science stuffs... yeah... I write that kind of poetries... some of them are geeky enough to make your nose bleed.

In the uptown metropolis,
Flashing, strobbing lights galore,
When the moon starts to peak.
The lights shined the most,
In strong and vivid colors,
Brightness that strikes my eyes,
Like a feeling of afterglow.

Stars should be seen in the dark,
But what is this that I can see?

In our story today here on love diaries, trust is being questioned. How would you know if the person you meet each day is not using you for whatever purpose it may serve? I'm 30 years old and he's 23. Despite our age gap, you cannot tell the difference between us because our facial and physical characteristics are almost the same as if we are of the same age. But he is not my boyfriend. Miguel, a mestizo and a cutie person, is just an acquaintance that I met in a certain government office. But the acquaintanceship never stopped there. We became close, we are exchanging text messages and telling each other some sweet nothings. I thought we clicked right away the moment I met him. I felt there was spark.
One day, while Miguel was looking for a job, he texted me and we agreed to meet in a nearby mall. We ate, we chatted, we had fun just having a conversation on different topics. It did not matter really even if I paid our lunch, I understand — he was looking for a job and that he had no money. When I got back in our office, he texted me saying that he was going to fall in love with me. I must admit, I smiled when I read his text message. I also blushed when he said he misses me, I almost screamed at the top of my lungs.
When Miguel knew that I was a relative of the owner of the company that I am with during our lunch date, I offered him to apply in our office. He agreed to send his resume. But after a few days of continued exchanging of text messages, I learned from him that he already started training in an agency office.
Two weeks had already passed and I let my feelings for Miguel became so mad at him. I never heard any news since then. I cried. I cried a lot. When I am with my boyfriend of five long years, I became quiet. He never knew Miguel. Not even a hint. My boyfriend keeps on asking me what was wrong with me. He said I used to be the talkative one. But then suddenly, I am the quiet type.
I don't know why I became mad at Miguel. I'm mad at him maybe because I was holding on to what he said that he was about to fall in love with me. I don't understand my feelings towards him. Several days passed once more. Until one day he sent me a text message, "Hi, it's me, how are you? Why you never send me messages anymore? I miss you!"
My heart pounded as I my blood was going to burst. It was fast... as if I cannot breathe. He said he was sorry because he was so busy with his training. He immediately asked if the position was still available for him. I paused. I said yes and once again, I asked for his resume. Days had passed and still I have not received his resume... or even reply to my text messages.
I am getting crazy... my feelings towards him confuses me. I think I like him... or more... I think I love him. I already have fallen in love with him. Do you think he likes me? A couple of weeks ago, I had a feedburner dilemma that was truly devastating. My feeds were suddenly gone... vanished just like that. My feedburner delivery system is not delivering email alerts. My google reader, to which I am also subscribed to my own feeds (this is just to monitor my feeds), had also stopped updating. Truly devastating and truly very disappointing on my part as a blogger with more than two years of experience. This is actually the first time that happened to me in all my blogging experiences. Are you experiencing feedburner feeds that are not delivering email alerts or feeds that are not updating and you don't know how to fix it? Well... apparently, you have come to the right place because I will give some juicy details on the things that I have done to fix this problem! Just click on for more details! How to fix feeds — email feeds and reader feeds — that are not working properly?
Okay, so here are the details on what you can do when your feeds suddenly gone crazy and had stopped updating itself and also had stopped delivering email alert feeds.
The colored part should be changed to your blog's name and your desired number of posts.
• Click Save Feed Details and your done.
But why on earth are you doing this?
Well... according to FeedBurner's help website, transferring of feeds would only take 512K of file capacity only. When you surpassed this file capacity, there will be an error message that will prompt when you try to do the procedures I have mentioned above. Here's what the message should say to you:
Your feed filesize is larger than 512K. You need to reduce its size in order for FeedBurner to process it. Tips for controlling feed file size with Blogger can be found in Tech Tips on FeedBurner Forums, our support site.
So there, I searched on google to find any solutions to help me with my problem and I found this very helpful website from FeedBurner Help. If you want to further understand what I am saying here, you may go directly to this website or continue on with my adventures on this dilemma.
After several trials of renewing my own subscription to my reader, I finally have my blog updates shown on my reader! So, if you are subscribed to this blog's feed via the google reader or any other reader out there, you may want to renew your subscription by doing the following:
• Login to google reader and choose my blog's name on your reader. A list of blog entries should be displaying.
• Click on feed settings and click on UNSUBSCRIBE, then OK.
• Now go to Add Subscription button and click it.
• Type-in my blog's URL without the http:// (yatotchronicles.blogspot.com) OR my blog feed's URL address, again, without the http:// (feeds2.feedburner.com/yatotchronicles). Click OK and your done. A new set of feeds should be showing on the right screen of your google reader.
I hope that's a big help for those people who are having trouble with their blog's feeds! 'Till next tip! Hehehe...!

On my last blog entry saga on the Ilocos Norte Region, I told you my adventures on Juan Luna's house and showed you some pictures of the place. For continuity purposes, I now present to you the different churches that we visited when I was having my trip to the Ilocos Region, which was by the way will soon be a year older. Hahaha... my bad... so much procrastination! Hahaha!
Ilocos Norte is a province of the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region in Luzon. Its capital is Laoag City and is located at the northwest corner of Luzon island, bordering Cagayan and Apayao to the east, and Abra and Ilocos Sur to the south. Ilocos Norte faces the South China Sea to the west and the Luzon Strait to the north. (Source.)
On our travel north going to Bangui Windmills (soon), my colleagues and I went to three of the famous churches in Ilocos Norte. The churches are far away from each other. It would take about an hour or more to travel from one church to another. Although the land travel is very straining in our gluteus maximus, the moment we stepped in the different churches were really something that it can give peacefulness to one's self because of its solemnity and silence.
Ilocos Norte is home to several Roman Catholic churches such as:
• The Batac Church

The Batac Church is located near the ancestral house of former president Ferdinand E. Marcos's Family. It is situated across the street were the ancestral house was built. The Marcos's Ancestral House is also known as the place where the former president's remains is placed (some sort of a mausoleum).
• The Sarrat Church and Belltower

I have not gathered much information on the town of Sarrat in Ilocos Norte. My bad, really. Anyway, just to describe the place, Sarrat Church is a shady place. There are a lot of trees, tall trees, most of them have thick trunks, probably over a hundred years old! Sarrat town is known as the birthplace of former president Ferdinand E. Marcos.

Poohkwang or PoohKwang or simply Pooh-Kwang is the title of the concert series made by comedian Pooh, who is well-known for impersonating Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao with his character "Pakyaw" and Pokwang, a comedienne-host-actress in the ever-popular noontime show, Wowowee. They made a series of concert tours last year in the Philippines and in the US.
