Pork-Stuffed Squid (Relyenong Pusit)


We often cook seafood at home because of some reasons: 1) seafood dishes are pricey to cook; 2) some of us do not eat seafood or not fond of eating them; and 3) seafood dishes are often served during celebrations or occasions. So, if there is a seafood dish on our dinner table on a random ordinary day, then there is definitely something to celebrate!

The pork-stuffed squid or relyenong pusit being served on our dinner table is definitely a feast for our eyes and a fireworks display for our mouth. This relyenong pusit was marinated with sprite overnight. When it was cooked, it has that sweet taste of soda but still have that squid taste of seafood.
