What is RSS?

If you are a blogger or if you own a website, it is necessary for you to have feeds for your written contents. But what is an RSS (usually the orange button on most websites and blogs) and what benefits it can do to both blog owners and readers of blogs? Here's an in-depth layman's explanations of what an RSS really means and what it can do to help reading and browsing experience a lot easier.

RSS redefined
RSS or rich site summary, is a simple full or summary text format of the contents of your favorite blogs or websites. It is a timely solution for people who regularly checks their favorite blogs if they have a new content. According to whatisrss.com, an RSS "allows users to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually." With RSS, you don't have to visit any blogs or websites because everything that you need is located in one place (e.g., feed readers or e-mails).

Calle Crisologo, Heritage Village, Vigan, Ilocos Sur!

I bet you already seen my video of my Ilocos Tour but if you haven't, you can still catch up. But there's nothing really there but some pictures of places that can be seen on the way to Ilocos, mostly nature pictures, but still I suggest you watch the video first before you see the rest of the pictures that I have taken from my Ilocos Tour Experience last April or so, I can't remember the dates already. Hehehe...

Anyway, this is part 3 of the said tour. Today, I present to you snapshots of Calle Crisologo in Heritage Village in Vigan, Ilocos Sur! I have taken a lot of pictures but the following are just a chosen few. But before that some information first of what you are about to see.

Identification (ID) Cards as Bank Requirements!

The other day, I was talking about saving money for the future and compared two known and prominent banking institutions in the country, Banco de Oro (BDO) and Land Bank of the Philippines. I also tackled some information on initial deposits and maintaining balances for the said banks, which in turn, I find BDO as the more favorable. Today, I will tackle the most important bank requirement/s before opening a personal passbook savings account — the identification cards or IDs.

ID cards are the most important requirement a bank should ask from you before opening a personal passbook savings account. Aside from giving them a recent 1x1 or 2x2 photo or ID picture (which some banks does not even require), identification cards are always on top on their list when trying to open a savings account from any bank establishments or institutions. Listed below are some of the identification or ID cards a bank institution would ask before opening ANY savings account.

BDO vs LandBank: Saving Money for the Future!

Several months ago, I received my EON Cyber Account ATM card from Unionbank (Philippines). It was a personal savings account that I applied online in their website. It was a milestone move for me because I really wanted to save some money for myself. Aside from that, I wanted to use my Unionbank EON Cyber Account for future online transactions. If you don't know yet, EON Cyber Account can be used to apply for Paypal. Unfortunately, after months of struggling to my personal finances, I wasn't still able to save some money. Pity me. Huhuhu. Maybe because, everytime I needed some money, the Automated Teller Machine is just a breeze away. So the only options I have left is to look for bank establishment to help save money using a passbook instead of an ATM card.
