Riding a Jeepney in the Philippines!

It has always been my fascination to observe the looks, attitudes, and behaviors of people inside a jeepney whenever I had a chance to ride in it. The public utility jeepneys (PUJs) or simply jeep, brings us a lot more closer to reality when it comes to observing people.

Inside a jeep, you will find a different mix of people. There are sometimes stubborn passengers, and at times there are nice. Often times you will find stressed passengers, especially during rush hours. These traits and behaviors of people inside the jeepneys may or may not annoy you, but believe it or not, these traits and behaviors can affect you in one way or another even if you don't care much.

Superman's New Costume for 2011!

Our favorite red-caped superhero will have a new look in the 21st century rebooted edition of "Action Comics" according to DC Comics last Friday. Although our favorite Man of Steel still wears his skin-tight blue suit along with his red cape which he wore since Superman was first introduced in June 1938, the newly-feel costume will have an upgrade in the middle portion of his body. Superman will now have no pants, or perhaps that red speedo thing in his crotch area and will have a red belt instead of the traditional yellow belt that we always see on him.

According to LA Times, the new Superman comic series that will be released in the "Action Comics" of DC Comics, will restart at issue No. 1 in September, with Scottish writer Grant Morrison and artist Ralph "Rags" Morales at the helm. According to report by The Hollywood Reporter, DC Comics also plans to relaunch other titles in the DC Universe, which includes superheroes such as Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lantern. New characters, stories and, of course, costumes will be introduced across the board. Whatever Happened to "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" of ABS-CBN?

"Nasaan na nga ba si Elisa?" yan din ang tanong ng karamihan sa atin kung ano na nga ba ang nangyari sa pinakaaabangang teleserye ng ABS-CBN na pinagbibidahan ni Melissa Ricks, ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" mula sa Chilean telenovelang "¿Donde Esta Elisa? (Where is Elisa?)".

"Nasaan Ka Elisa?" was originally intended to be shown on March 7 as part of ABS-CBN afternoon block (Haponstatic) which was later changed into Kapamilya Gold. The teleserye remake of the Chilean telenovela is really promising, from the story, to the scenes, up to the artists and production. Kaya lang, mukhang tatlong buwan na ang nakalilipas simula noong ipromote ito, hanggang ngayon eh wala pa din tayong napapanood na "Nasaan Ka Elisa?". Eh, nasaan na nga ba itong teleserye na ito?

Ayon sa aking source, ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" na pinagbibidahan ni Melissa Ricks, gayundin ang "Maria La Del Barrio" nina Erich Gonzales at Enchong Dee, at iyong "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Hiyas" naman ni Zanjoe Marudo eh hindi nakapasa sa standards ng mga taga Movie and Television Reviews and Classification Board or MTRCB. Ang naturang tema di umano ng mga nabanggit na upcoming teleserye ng ABS-CBN ay hindi maaring ipalabas sa hapon. Ang pagpapakita ng mga "mature" roles ay nararapat daw sa pang-gabing timeslot (10PM onwards). At dahil na rin sa rason ito, ang tatlong nasabing teleserye ay hinahanapan pa daw ng timeslot.

Sabik na sabik na ako sa totoo lang sa paghihintay kung kailan ipapalabas ang "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" dahil na din sa kakaibang tema nito at produksyon. Ayon sa aking source, ang teleserye raw na ito ay maaaring ipalit sa timeslot ng "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" kapag ito ay nagwakas na.
