10 Music Video Love Songs (or something like it) From the 90s That Have Ridiculously Unnecessary Dance Steps

As I was doing a usual visit on the video-sharing website Youtube, it came to mind to search for some videos that made my childhood complete. It was a song from the 90s that I used to watch during my childhood days and somehow sang to it during those times. Then it struck me. As I watched every music video that I load, I saw a familiar pattern that were not really recognizable in the 90s. Most music videos that I watched have these unnecessary dance steps that when you watch it today, it's kinda annoying... but of course, they bring back colorful memories.

The 90s was such a colorful era in worldwide music industry because during this time, music videos were sprouting like crazy. Almost everyday, there were available new music videos on MTV Fresh. You know, that show on MTV where a newly-made music video is going to be seen for the first time, worldwide. Ah, forget it. MTV sucks now! MTV was way much cooler decades ago... Yeah.. I'm old.

ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011: Bida Best sa Tag-araw!

In the tradition of giving you a fun-filled Summer Station ID, ABS-CBN finally revealed its much-awaited Summer Station ID with a this year's flagship theme, "Bida Best sa Tag-araw!". Once again, the ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011 is filled with the network's rosters of talents that are stars in their own generations.

Summer officially starts when ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011 has finally seen on television... well, at least on ABS-CBN Channel. This year's theme, "Bida Best sa Tag-araw!", focuses on the different ABS-CBN stars' "jump shot" moment as different summer traditions and activities are also being shown which were plotted with a cool and hyped music. Jump shot is more popular in travel bloggers. This year's ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011 theme song is sang by Sharon's Next Female Superstar grand winner Angeline Quinto with Vincent Bueno featuring J.O.L.O. aka J-Dot.

In the ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011, there are some stars and ABS-CBN artists not included. It must be their schedules did not meet the schedule of the station ID shoot. Anyway, overall, the ABS-CBN Summer Station ID 2011 is one of the best for its catchy tune that is something subtle, yet very entertaining to hear. "Hanggang May Kailanman" (The Prinsipe Irvin Song)

I have been watching ABS-CBN's newest fantaserye offering on primetime entitled, "Mutya" starring Precious Lara Quigaman, Alfred Vargas, Jayson Gainza, and Ms. Sandy Andolong, and also ABS-CBN's newest child star discovery, Mutya Orquia in her very first ever starring role as Mutya, since it started last Monday, January 31, 2011. I can say that this fantaserye, so far, has a promise that will make televiewers hook on its story until the end.

During the pilot episode, I was bothered by the fact that Alfred Vargas, who plays as Prinsipe Irvin in the series, sang this very familiar song. It has been bothering me the moment he finished singing it because I am very sure that I have heard this song before in one of ABS-CBN's teleseryes. It took me four days to find out what's the title of the song and on what teleserye this particular song, sang by Alfred Vargas (also known as the merman/mermaid song), was used before it was used here in "Mutya".

After much research and prior knowledge of teleseryes and its soundtracks, I finally found the answer to all my questions and many sleepness night (hahaha! as if...)! The song that Alfred Vargas sang in the series Mutya was finally revealed here with much confidence and anticipation!

So, what is the title of Alfred Vargas' (Prinsipe Irvin's) song in "Mutya"?

The song that Alfred Vargas sang during the pilot episode of "Mutya" was first used as a theme song in ABS-CBN's korean drama "Forbidden Love" (Gumiho, Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox) which stars Korea's superstars Kim Tae Hee and Jo Hyun Jae as the nine-tailed fox warrior and human detective, respectively. And so, I remembered... Hahaha! I love that korean series shown on ABS-CBN that's why I remembered this song by Prinsipe Irvin...

The song by Prinsipe Irvin also known as, Prinsipe Irvin song, is entitled, "Hanggang May Kailanman" originally sand and popularized by Carol Banawa. Below is Carol Banawa's version of "Hanggang May Kailanman" with lyrics. Enjoy! Finally, I can sleep now! Hahaha!

The english translation of the song describe a little bit of Sandara Park. Dara's favorite is Kimchi Fried Rice, she reveals that in her documentary "My Name is Sandara Park" w/c her sister Durami cooked for her. Dara's a girl or should I say a woman who looks better NOT only in jeans but also in skirt though we see her wear jeans/pants all the time. A GIRL WHO LOOKS YOUNG EVEN THOUGH SHE'S OLD, we all know she's 26 yrs old but doesn't look her age, that's definitely SANDARA PARK. ^_^

"Come Closer" by Rico Blanco: Close-Up Commercial Song!

Still remember that song from the latest Close-Up Commercial? The one with a girl blowing soap bubbles in a public market and then a guy approaches because he was somehow blinded with that soap bubbles that the girl blown? Apparently, I like the background song... and I am loving it!

I was actually shocked and amazed at the same time when I first heard that it was Rico Blanco, former Rivermaya band member and lead vocalist, who wrote and sang the song for the commercial because it sounded so foreign!
