"Into The Storm" Brings Extreme Weather Conditions Into The Big Screen!
I saw this official movie teaser trailer of the upcoming tornado-disaster movie "Into The Storm," which stars Richard Armitage (Thorin, The Hobbit Trilogy) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), and it only reminded me of the wrath that was "Yolanda (Haiyan)." The plot may have similarities to the 1996 movie of the same genre, "Twister" but I think, this one will bring more disaster... thanks to improved CGIs over the past two decades!
I must admit, the teaser trailer of "Into The Storm" looks really scary and might bring back some trauma to others (so be warned when you watch the teaser trailer below), especially when you came from a country, which experienced a weather-related disaster/tragedy some five or six months ago. The full movie trailer for the movie has not yet been released, but I do hope that this movie will surpass the "2012" or "The Day After Tomorrow" movies, another weather-related disaster movies of the past decade, in terms of destruction and/or tragedy and of course, the story.
Considering Steven Quale of "Final Destination 5" directs the movie, I'm sure this film will have its well-deserved tragedy that the movie is asking for. I'm sure the director will give justice to "tornado-disaster movie" he was claiming to. Let's just wait until August 8 because we all know, everyone will be judged on this judgment day. Can't wait for this one! Below is the official movie teaser trailer and plot/synopsis/summary of "Into The Storm." I hope it will be shown in the Philippines, too by August!
