FIBA 2014: SMART Gilas Pilipinas Game Schedules and Information

It will be remembered that a few weeks ago, SMART Gilas Pilipinas made history when they won the Bronze Medal to FIBA Asia 2014 which qualifies them to FIBA 2014. And now, SMART Gilas Pilipinas has less than a month to practice hard and win each game for the glory of the Philippines.
But of course, to win the Basketball World Cup 2014 (FIBA 2014) is not an easy task. SMART Gilas Pilipinas must face some of the world's best basketball players first before they go to the next round of the basketball competition. In this world basketball cup game, SMART Gilas Pilipinas must win at least two (2) games to make to move from the preliminary round to the next round.
FIBA 2014 Basketball Team Groups
There are 24 countries who qualified for the FIBA 2014 which are divided into four groups of six countries. SMART Gilas Pilipinas belongs to Group B of the FIBA 2014 which includes Argentina, Croatia, Greece, Puerto Rico, and Senegal. Gilas Pilipinas' first game is a battle against Croatia on the first day of FIBA 2014. Each group is assigned to different cities where they will do the battles. Group B will battle in Seville. Below are the countries included in each group and their respective cities:
Group A (Granada): Brazil, Egypt, France, Iran, Serbia, and Spain
Group B (Seville): Argentina, Croatia, Greece, Puerto Rico, Senegal, and the Philippines
Group C (Bilbao): Dominican Republic, Finland, New Zealand, Turkey, Ukraine, and USA
Group D (Gran Canaria): Angola, Australia, South Korea, Lithuania, Mexico, and Slovenia
FIBA World Cup 2014 SMART Gilas Pilipinas Games Schedules
From August 30 to September 4, 2014, SMART Gilas Pilipinas will have a total of five games. If they will pass the preliminary round of basketball competition, the SMART Gilas Pilipinas Team will go on the next round of tournament on September 6, 2014, where the winners in each group will battle against each other. Below are the game tournament schedules of SMART Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup 2014.
August 30, 2014
Time: 12:30 PM (around 8:30 PM in the Philippines)
Group B Battles: Croatia vs Philippines
August 31, 2014
Time: 8:00 PM (around 2:00 AM in the Philippines)
Group B Battles: Greece vs Philippines
September 1, 2014
Time: 5:30 PM (around 11:30 PM in the Philippines)
Group B Battles: Argentina vs Philippines
September 2, 2014
No Group B Battles
September 3, 2014
Time: 1:30 PM (around 7:30 PM in the Philippines)
Group B Battles: Puerto Rico vs Philippines
September 4, 2014
Time: 2:00 PM (around 8:00 PM in the Philippines)
Group B Battles: Senegal vs Philippines

In Ikaw Lamang - what happens to the character of Rebecca and Gonzalo?
ReplyDeletehi there MN! thanks for visiting... it is not really clear what happened to rebecca and gonzalo even though it was only implied at the last episode of book 1 that the bodies of rebecca and gonzalo were found (but not shown and not confirmed) and this was reported to franco by one of his men... however, there are speculations that the two survived and grew old, and gonzalo died of old age... rebecca, on the other hand, lived.. there are rumors that veteran actress Pilar Pilapil will continue the role of Rebecca in Ikaw Lamang Book 2 series...
