Erich Gonzales is "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" | Movie Trailer and Information
Star Cinema, ABS-CBN's film production outfit, is giving Erich Gonzales yet another starring role. Out with the old tweetum roles of Erich Gonzales, this time, she will be portraying the role of an old Filipino folklore horror character, Aswang.
"Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" is the first horror-starrer of Erich Gonzales and her first team-up with Derek Ramsay on the big screen. Her last movie with Star Cinema was the romantic comedy "I Do" (2010), opposite on-screen partner, Enchong Dee.
The movie is made with the traditional storytelling of how a Filipino horror movie should look like. The production of "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" uses the traditional nipa hut (bahay-kubo) and rice field as their setting, to give that old-feeling that the movie IS actually telling the history or origin of the first-ever Aswang in the Philippines.
Star Cinema has done so many horror movies in the past; but this is the first time ever that they will use a traditional folklore character and traditional movie storytelling. Director Richard Somes is the brainchild of the techniques used in making "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang".
Below is the full movie trailer of "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" starring Erich Gonzales and Derek Ramsay with Mark Gil, Epy Quizon, and Ms. Tetchie Agbayani and some other local Filipino artists. "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" is showing in theaters on March 14, 2012 brought to you by Star Cinema under the direction of Richard Somes.

Erich Gonzales is undoubtedly the Philippines sweetheart. Really really looking forward to her upcoming movie (Suddenly It's Magic) with Mario Maurer. Hope to see more of her movies in future.
