In the interview, Ellen asked Maria why she chose to do a cover of the newest Lady Gaga single which she answered "It's all about the meaning of the song. It's about just being yourself because God made you who are and you are no different than anybody else!" With this great answer, Maria Aragon should join the Miss Universe Pageant! Hahaha! "Who's That Girl?" Movie Trailer, Cast, and Information

Viva Films, Inc., and SM Development Corporation (SMDC) bring you this romantic-comedy movie entitled, "Who's That Girl?" starring Anne Curtis, Luis Manzano, John Lapus, and Eugene Domingo among others.

"Who's That Girl?" summary/plot/story

"Who's That Girl?" is a one-of-a-kind romantic-comedy movie about a girl who is an alleged mistress of a business tycoon, husband to Eugene Domingo's character, and father to Luis Manzano's character. Anne Curtis plays the role of Elizabeth Penrosa, a sexy lady, wallflower who's main goal in life is to get the attention of Johnny Eduque (Luis Manzano), the son of a business tycoon.

One day, when Elizabeth saw the name of Johnny in an obituary, she immediately went to the wake and mistakenly identified the departed person to be "her" Johnny, the man of her dreams. Not knowing who's wake it is, Elizabeth made a scene in the funeral and was instantly mistaken to be as "the other woman" of the departed business tycoon, father to Johnny Eduque. Without her knowledge, the departed was the senior John Eduque.

The Eduque Family cannot accept this newly-created fact (that the father has a mistress) which made the mother (Eugene Domingo) experience depression and nervous breakdown. This incident and scandal in the Eduque family made Johnny swore to get the identity of the girl who ruined his family's reputation and made her mother depress; and make her suffer. With the help of his assistant (John Lapus), Johnny finally finds out the identity of the girl and he is on with a plan that will make her pay for what she did to his family.

"Who's That Girl?" Cast and Information

"Who's That Girl?" is the first movie offering tandem of Viva Films, Inc. this 2011 and Director Wenn Deramas of the "Tanging Ina" Series fame. This is also the first movie production cooperation of SMDC, a well-known construction company in the Philippines which is fully-owned by SM Malls and Holdings. Direk Wenn Deramas last movie for Viva Films is the 2010 hit movie, "Petrang Kabayo".

"Who's That Girl?" is also the reunion movie of Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano for Viva FIlms. Their last movie together is Star Cinema-Viva Films movie, "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo", another Wenn Deramas movie direction.

In an interview to Direk Wenn Deramas several years ago, he told a reporter that he considers Eugene Domingo as his lucky charm in all projects that he has done in the past. It can also be taken note that actor DJ Durano has also been present in some of Direk Wenn Deramas' movies and television projects. Probably, DJ Durano is also considered as one of Direk Wenn Deramas' lucky charms that is why his films and TV projects are always a hit! Eugene Domingo, on the other hand, has been elevated her movie career status. She is now considered as one of the important female comedians in Philippine showbiz industry.

"Hanggang May Kailanman" (The Prinsipe Irvin Song)

I have been watching ABS-CBN's newest fantaserye offering on primetime entitled, "Mutya" starring Precious Lara Quigaman, Alfred Vargas, Jayson Gainza, and Ms. Sandy Andolong, and also ABS-CBN's newest child star discovery, Mutya Orquia in her very first ever starring role as Mutya, since it started last Monday, January 31, 2011. I can say that this fantaserye, so far, has a promise that will make televiewers hook on its story until the end.

During the pilot episode, I was bothered by the fact that Alfred Vargas, who plays as Prinsipe Irvin in the series, sang this very familiar song. It has been bothering me the moment he finished singing it because I am very sure that I have heard this song before in one of ABS-CBN's teleseryes. It took me four days to find out what's the title of the song and on what teleserye this particular song, sang by Alfred Vargas (also known as the merman/mermaid song), was used before it was used here in "Mutya".

After much research and prior knowledge of teleseryes and its soundtracks, I finally found the answer to all my questions and many sleepness night (hahaha! as if...)! The song that Alfred Vargas sang in the series Mutya was finally revealed here with much confidence and anticipation!

So, what is the title of Alfred Vargas' (Prinsipe Irvin's) song in "Mutya"?

The song that Alfred Vargas sang during the pilot episode of "Mutya" was first used as a theme song in ABS-CBN's korean drama "Forbidden Love" (Gumiho, Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox) which stars Korea's superstars Kim Tae Hee and Jo Hyun Jae as the nine-tailed fox warrior and human detective, respectively. And so, I remembered... Hahaha! I love that korean series shown on ABS-CBN that's why I remembered this song by Prinsipe Irvin...

The song by Prinsipe Irvin also known as, Prinsipe Irvin song, is entitled, "Hanggang May Kailanman" originally sand and popularized by Carol Banawa. Below is Carol Banawa's version of "Hanggang May Kailanman" with lyrics. Enjoy! Finally, I can sleep now! Hahaha!

Below is another theme song from the fantaserye "Mutya" entitled "Sana" as sang by Mutya in the series. It was sang by Amy Nobleza (the brat little mermaid named Chabita) for Mutya Orquia. Enjoy listening!

"Walang Natira" by Gloc 9 featuring Sheng Belmonte

After the hit political rap song of Gloc 9 in 2009, "Upuan" featuring new singer Zelle, the Philippines' fast-tongued rapper is back with yet another sure fire hit with his newest single "Walang Natira" (Nothing's Left, literal) featuring another rising singer, Sheng Belmonte. "Walang Natira" is somehow an advocacy song of Gloc 9 dedicated to all overseas Filipino workers (OFW) who are working hard abroad just to earn some moolah (money that is).

If you are familiar with Gloc 9's song, you will surely love this yet another striking, politically timing, rap song, especially made for our Filipino contract workers abroad. This should make an eye-opener for the "real" situation of labor in the Philippines. Gloc 9 once again hits the target. The 3.6 billion dollar question is, why can't Filipinos use their working skills and talents here in the Philippines? Sad, but true... Gloc 9 deserves a Grammy Awards for this song! Kudos to you!
